Considering the Best Time to Buy Clothing
It"s a tough question to answer, but there are a few basics to consider. First, considering the condition of your clothing is important. If the clothes aren"t ripped, torn, full of holes, faded, too small, or simply unwearable, then you probably don"t need new clothes. Clothes don"t need to be replaced just because they"re old; Older clothes are just as functional as when they were brand new if they don"t have any major malfunctions. Also, there is a difference between wanting and needing new clothes. As long as you have enough outfits to last at least a week or two, then you don"t really need to go out and buy clothes. It"s as simple as that. There are appropriate times to go and buy new clothes in small quantities, of course. If you have a job interview or some event arises that requires you to dress formally, then it"s fine to purchase something new to wear to said event. Wanting new clothes is always a choice, but needing new clothes will be a legitimate thing that occurs a handful of times per year. Clothes do last a long time if taken care of properly, so thirty trips to buy new clothes each year is just unnecessary.
